Interior Designer Ryan Korban's artistic career began as a starry eyed actor in New York. He soon realized that his passion was not in acting at all, but in design. I had a similar realization many moons ago when I decided to no longer attend the Stella Adler Studio of Acting to pursue other creative avenues. I think this is why his career, and his designs resonate so strongly with me.
Ryan has collaborated with Alexander Wang on many occasions and styles homes for fashion models and the "who's who" of downtown New York. It is clear that Ryan's influences include theatre, fashion, and old New York. His style is a sensual mix of romance and fantasy- I want to live in every one of his rooms!
What do you think of Ryan's interiors?
Notice how he incorporates fur and animal prints into his designs- so sleek and cozy!
If you could, would you hire him to transform your space?
I actually really love his combinations, particularly the dark colors and animal textures.
ReplyDeleteYES I would hire him to transform my home! Everything is so gorgoues I wish my house looked like that!
ReplyDeletewoa! they definitely have that "hollywood" style feel to them. I am a bit more minimalistic in my design taste, but this is still beautiful. -Alecia with www.likesof.us
ReplyDeleteThese rooms are so unique and arresting in their own way. Yes I had thought of interior design at one point but chose graphic design because it seemed more practical, but I wonder about that sometime.

ReplyDeleteVery talented but a bit too masculine for my taste.
