Living Room Project: Phase 2

Happy Friday Everyone! I am happy to be documenting the second phase of my Living Room Project. This week I focused on accessorizing my space with pillows, art, and accents. I have to say, I think I made some darn good headway given the fact that last weekend was a holiday and I was out of town :O Needless to say, there is much more accessorizing to be done...

Here is what I have going on so far:

We were able to steal Scott's mom's latter and hang these babies. 

Huge ordeal!

We desperately need a rug, end tables, more pillows, and lighting! I also want to get a vintage silver tray for the coffee table and display some books and candles to create more warmth.

I found the throw and pillows at Surya!

We found this World Market TV stand on Craigslist! The bronze urn from a wholesale pottery outlet and the bronze stool at Home Goods. 

I still need to collect some more decorative books to place on the stool and of course an industrial looking weight for on top. Maybe decorative coral?

This Week's Lust Have: White & Gold Home Accents

Lately I have been drooling over white and gold accessories, especially the accessories that are reminiscent of nature (aka wild animals, bold nature prints, decorative coral... you get the idea.)  I have also been on the 'hunt' for the perfect piggy bank to display in my home office and I think I have hit the jackpot with this little guy! I found the piggy and a ton of awesome accessories at an online store I stumbled upon today, Hattan Home. Check it out!

White and gold is such a glam combination and I can't help but swoon over these funky, chic accent pieces!
