Happy Friday! I have to apologize for my absence these past few days, summer has gotten the best of me and I have been majorly slacking in all areas of my life (my daily yoga habit has gone out the door). I am looking forward to fall when I am back into more of a routine! 

But on to better things... I am so stoked for labor day weekend- the last weekend I can wear whites from head to toe, and yes I follow that rule even though I live in California where (mostly) everything goes.

Lately I have been particularly drawn to the bold and iconic, and a black and white room surely embodies this style. Paint the Town in Eggshell Blues

I don’t usually go around saying ‘Happy Monday’, but thanks to Independence Day this is a short week for most of us! Lately I have been wanting to paint my whole entire life in Egg Shell Blue. Egg Shell Blue, colloquially Tiffany Blue, can be recognized as a light robin egg shell hue. This is the color I painted my first apartment in New York, and is also the color that reminds me most of my mother. For me, this color evokes a sense of calmness and is truly the essence of class!

This Weeks Lust Have: A White Bedroom

Hello loves! I don't know about you all, but work has dragged on more than usual this week and I can't help but wish I had a white, calming oasis ready for me at home. White is definitely my staple for creating a romantic and elegant ambiance!

Today I am lusting over pairing a white bedroom with a chandelier, distressed headboard, and pillows galore for a rustic haven (like these beauties below.)

Happy Tuesday! I know, it's only Tuesday...

 It has been raining like crazy here in the Bay Area and these devil drops have been my worst enemy ever since I lived in Seattle for a short stint. I really needed a 'pick me up', so I choose to explore the color coral. 

Coral is one of my all time favorite summer colors to mix and match with, whether it is in the home or garnished on me- I love it! Coral can refer to tones ranging from very light peach/pink to a deep orange or red. The range of this color spectrum is great because coral can take on a romantic, fresh, or even dramatic look.
