Zac Posen's designs leave me breathless time and time again. I first fell in love with him when I worked for IMG and attended/reported on Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in 2009. He has drool worthy talent!

Happy Friday! I have to apologize for my absence these past few days, summer has gotten the best of me and I have been majorly slacking in all areas of my life (my daily yoga habit has gone out the door). I am looking forward to fall when I am back into more of a routine! 

But on to better things... I am so stoked for labor day weekend- the last weekend I can wear whites from head to toe, and yes I follow that rule even though I live in California where (mostly) everything goes.

The End of Summer Romance

I am sad to say that summer is almost over and fall is approaching. Like many of you, I will be switching out my pretty florals for fall wools. Scott and I are planning an end of summer vacation to Santa Cruz and I plan to go all out in romantic prints and feminine hues.

Brigitte Bardot is the epitome of sex kitten. Her big hair, seductive eyes, and voluminous curves are to be envied, but her original style which has been emulated for decades is what makes her a true style icon. Brigitte popularized the ballet flat, sexy bedhead hair, and headbands. She has had a huge influence over my style choices and was the cause of my obsession with too much eye liner in college (not her fault)!
